Unborn babies could feel pain in first trimester

It has been scientifically proven, and is generally accepted, that unborn babies can experience pain at 20 weeks. But now new research seems to suggest that an unborn baby's nervous system develops earlier than previously believed and this could challenge the assumption that unborn babies do not feel pain in the early weeks of their development.Read more ……..

Government's grant to Life creates uproar

Women's groups and pro-abortion groups have responded angrily to the £250,000 grant that the government has awarded to Life Charity to help assist in their work with vulnerable pregnant women.  Read more ………

Professor given £500,000 to write about the Abortion Act

Professor Sally Sheldon, a trustee of the British Pregnancy Advisory Service (the largest abortion provider in Britain) has been given a grant of £512,000 by The Arts and Humanities Research Council to write a study about the 1967 Abortion Act. Sheldon has been a campaigner of abortion on demand for over 20 years, she has voiced her support for gender-selective abortions and has also stated that midwives should carry out surgical abortions.

Swedish midwife takes her case to the European Court

On 12th April 2017 Swedish midwife, Ellinor Grimmark, lost her long battle in the Swedish courts to not have to participate in abortions. She has now decided to take her case to the European Court of Human Rights.
