Dates for the 2015 Manchester and London Training Courses have now been released. The 60-hour course in Christian pregnancy counselling skills aims to explore the basic counselling skills and information areas needed to help people with problems relating to pregnancy, abortion, post abortion and teenage sex from within a Christian framework. Its purpose is to provide a foundation for all those working, or seeking to work, in Christian pregnancy centres and related areas of ministry. The course is accompanied by a training manual which will be a valuable resource for individuals, churches and centres.
The course provides accreditation with Open Awards in Christian pregnancy skills at level one, level two and level three. Levels two and three are also recognised by the Association of Christian Counsellors. It runs from January to May/June each year on one Saturday in each month (a total of five days’ attendance) and includes reading and assessment work.
If you know of anyone who might be interested in supporting those struggling with pregnancy decisions or after abortions then course information and application forms are available on the website. We are recruiting men as well as women. Please pray for all who are involved.
